LatinSummer Anne Arundel

When: July 3-14, 2006 from 8:45 am - 12:00 pm on each day. No class on July 4, 2006.

Where: Belvedere Elementary School, Arnold, Md.

Who may participate: All students currently enrolled in grades 1-7. Neither attendance in Anne Arundel County Public Schools nor residency in Anne Arundel County is required.

Deadline to register: June 10, 2006.

Cost: $225.

Transportation provided: None.

LatinSummer Alexandria

When: July 17-28, 2006 from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm on each day.

Where: John Adams Elementary School, Alexandria, Va.

Who may participate: All students currently enrolled in grades 1-7. Residency in Alexandria City is required, though attendance in Alexandria City Public Schools is not.

Cost (three options):

$12.50 per child for families registering only one child.

$25.00 flat fee for families registering more than one child.

$2.50 per child for students with free or reduced lunch status during the normal academic school year in ACPS.

Deadline to register (two options):

April 26, 2006 (ACPS students)

April 28, 2006 (residents of Alexandria City but not enrolled in ACPS)

Transportation provided: Yes, by Alexandria City Public Schools.

LatinSummer UMass

When: Week 1 is July 31 - August 4, 2006; Week 2 is August 7 - 11, 2006. For both weeks the times are from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm on each day.

Where: University of Massachusetts at Amherst

Who may participate: All students currently enrolled in grades 4-7.

Deadline to register: May 31, 2006.

Cost: $75 per week. (Full scholarships are available to students eligible for free or reduced lunch.)

Transportation provided: None.
