Elementary and middle school students in the Las Vegas area are invited to join us for a day of Latin, mythology, Roman culture, and more! In this program, students will broaden not only their cultural horizons, but also their knowledge of the foundations of the Western world. No prior knowledge of Latin or the Classics is required.
The program is free for all students! Plus your child will receive 2 free booklets of activities!
Within the areas of Latin, Roman culture, and mythology, students will explore a variety of topics, including:
- Latin Greetings
- Gods, Goddesses, and the Arts
- Mosaics and Art
- Roman Roads
- Roman Clothing
- Roman Food & Banquets

Ms. S. Suzanne Henrich Ms. Suzanne Henrich is a Latin teacher at Boston Latin Academy in Boston, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Classics from Lawrence University in Wisconsin, and a Master's degree in Teaching Latin and Classical Humanities from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. |

Mr. Matthew D. Webb
Mr. Matthew Webb is a Latin instructor for the The Public Schools of Brookline in Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Classical Languages and Literatures from the University of Maryland, and a Master's degree in Teaching Latin and Classical Humanities from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has also studied at The American University of Rome. A recipient of the Outstanding Maryland Classicist Award, Mr. Webb has over a decade of experience teaching in the public and private schools of the Mid-Atlantic and New England. |
