Edible Mosaics!

You will need:

A Knife
Vanilla Frosting
Graham Crackers
Colorful Cereal or Candy (Fruity Pebbles, M&M's, etc.)

Directions: Spread a thin layer of frosting over the graham crackers. Make a design in the frosting by placing the colorful candy or cereal in shapes. Try making animals and people, or write letters! Cover as much of the frosting as possible with the cereal or candy. Share your masterpiece with your friends and enjoy!

The Romans used mosaics to decorate their floors, walls, ceilings, and fountains. They were made by placing tesserae (such as colored stones or glass) into cement or mortar. Large mosaics could take a long time to make, and Romans often paid large sums of money to the artists. Then they could show off their new mosaic to their friends and neighbors!
